Marketing Manager

The Role

We are looking for a commercially minded Marketing Manager to build Diesta’s market presence and generate qualified pipeline across the insurance industry.

You will own Diesta’s marketing activity across campaigns, events, partnerships, content and lead nurture. Events will be a central part of the role: you will represent Diesta at industry conferences, develop Diesta-hosted events and turn conversations with senior insurance professionals into measurable commercial opportunities.

This is a hands-on role for someone who can set a marketing plan, execute it directly and work closely with the commercial team. You will help ensure that Diesta is visible to the right people in insurance finance, operations, payments and technology, and that marketing activity contributes clearly to pipeline and revenue.

Key Responsibilities

Demand generation and pipeline
Plan and run campaigns that generate awareness, capture demand and create qualified sales opportunities. Work with the CEO and commercial team to define target audiences, campaign priorities, lead qualification criteria and follow-up activity. Track performance across leads, meetings, opportunities and pipeline contribution.

Events and industry presence
Own Diesta’s event strategy across insurance and insurance-technology conferences, trade associations, roundtables, breakfasts, panels and client events. Identify the events where Diesta should attend, sponsor, speak or host. Represent Diesta in person, build relationships with relevant decision-makers and coordinate structured pre-event outreach and post-event follow-up.

Diesta-hosted events
Develop and deliver high-quality events that bring together senior leaders from insurers, brokers and relevant partners. Own the format, guest list, invitations, logistics, content and commercial follow-up for roundtables, breakfasts, networking events and other targeted gatherings.

Campaigns and content
Create and coordinate marketing content that supports lead generation, event promotion and sales conversations. This may include LinkedIn content, email campaigns, customer stories, product explainers, event materials, thought-leadership pieces and partner communications. You do not need to be a specialist videographer, but should be able to brief external support and produce strong written and presentation content.

Thought leadership and partnerships
Turn Diesta’s expertise, customer stories and market insight into relevant marketing activity. Build relationships with industry bodies, media, partners and influencers that can extend Diesta’s reach within the insurance market.

Sales enablement and lead nurture
Produce materials that help the commercial team convert interest into meetings and opportunities, including event follow-up, case studies, short decks, product overviews and targeted nurture campaigns. Maintain clear visibility of marketing-generated leads and their progress through the sales funnel.

What We’re Looking For

You have proven B2B marketing experience, ideally in insurance, fintech, payments, SaaS or another complex regulated industry. You understand how to turn marketing activity into commercial outcomes and are comfortable being accountable for lead generation.

You are confident in professional settings and enjoy meeting people, hosting discussions and representing a growing company. You are organised enough to manage multiple campaigns and events, while remaining practical and responsive when priorities change.

You should be comfortable working directly with senior stakeholders, developing marketing plans from incomplete information and taking ownership of execution.

Required Skills and Experience

Experience in B2B demand generation, field marketing, events or growth marketing.

  • Experience engaging senior decision-makers and building relationships at industry events.

  • Ability to plan, deliver and measure marketing campaigns.

  • Strong event-management skills, including event selection, sponsorships, speaker opportunities, invitations, logistics and follow-up.

  • Excellent written communication and presentation skills.

  • Commercial judgement and a clear understanding of sales funnels.

  • Willingness to travel for relevant UK and occasional international industry events.

Ideal Profile

You are commercially curious, ideally with a couple years of experience within the insurance industry, credible with senior stakeholders and comfortable being visible in the market. You combine strong organisation with good judgement about where Diesta should invest its time and budget.

You understand that successful marketing is measured by more than reach or engagement. It should create meaningful conversations with the right people and help turn those conversations into revenue opportunities.

Why Join Diesta?

  • Join a mission-driven team addressing real pain points in insurance finance.

  • Be part of a lean, high-performing team with direct impact on product and client outcomes.

  • Work with top insurers and brokers in an industry ripe for disruption.

Benefits
  • Hybrid work model with a central London office (Bank / Liverpool Street)

  • Private healthcare insurance

  • Regular team lunches and international offsites

  • State-of-the-art technical equipment

  • 22 days annual leave (excluding bank holidays)
